Dora Venter, originally Melinda Gál, was born on 1 October 1976 in Salgótarján, Hungary. She is a Hungarian-born adult film actress, considered by many to be one of the most beautiful women in the industry. Dora was born in a small Hungarian village and moved to Budapest, where she studied nursing and obtained her Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) qualification in 1998. She worked as a nurse in an intensive care unit in a hospital for a while, but the workload made her decide to take a different path. In April 1999, she entered the adult film industry after contacting an agent in Budapest who was brokering this type of work. She shot her first film in Germany under the name "Claudia Wennström" and the experience was so positive for her that she decided to pursue a full career in the industry. During her career, Dora Venter has shot films in many European countries, including Sweden, Italy, Germany, France and Hungary, but has never worked in the United States. Her early work included Swedish films with director Mike Beck, and between 2001 and 2004 she worked with Catalan director Conrad Son in art pornographic roles.
